Climbing

A via ferrata is a climbing route secured throughout with wire cables and where necessary with ladders. Experienced mountain hikers with a good head for heights will find it an intermediate stage between hiking in the mountains and rock climbing. Diverse vie ferrate in the area promise plenty of fun and adventure.

Del Lago via ferrata

This via ferrata runs from the Almagell Valley to the Antrona Valley in Italy. It owes its name “Via Ferrate del Lago” to the fact that in clear weather the view extends all the way to Lake (Lake) Maggiore. It is open from early July to the end of September and should ideally be tackled as a 2-day tour.
